Whether your goal is to feel confident at karaoke, sing at your first open mic, or prepare for a live performance, I'm here to help you discover and love your unique voice, develop stage presence, and master vocal techniques. I specialize in R&B/Soul, Jazz, Neo-Soul, Funk, and Pop (focusing on skills like riffs, runs, vocal slides, bends, and more).

I've taught over 100 students of all ages, with a strong focus on building self-confidence. My students come from a wide range of backgrounds, from corporate professionals (I worked in corporate myself for over three years!), to aspiring and emerging artists, healthcare professionals, and students.

Together, we’ll break down the vocals of your favourite artists, explore the full range of your voice, and most importantly, learn to love your voice.

For in-person lessons, I'm located downtown Toronto right near Yonge St. and Gerrard St. I also offer online lessons.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM VOCAL LESSONS

Helping you find your voice

One thing I hear among my students often is:

"I'm scared to share my voice."

I totally get it. I spent years afraid to share my own voice. It takes courage to sing out loud and allow yourself to be heard - I believe it’s one of the most vulnerable things you can do. That’s why creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and judgment-free is so important to me.

My goal is to empower you to discover your unique voice and truly love it. We have the power to shape our voice in the way we want it to sound, and to express that voice with confidence and authenticity.

In your first lesson, we’ll start with fundamentals like posture, breathing, and introductory vocal warm-ups. 

Come prepared with a song you love to sing. We’ll use it as a starting point to explore your voice, and from there, we’ll identify a few key areas to focus on in future lessons.

Also, if you’re into matcha, let me know (I'm a bit of a matcha addict)! I love making matcha lattes and would be happy to prepare one for you.

Lessons for Musicians

When I first entered the Toronto music scene, I didn't know where to start. I had no music industry connections and was uncertain about how to bring my artistic vision to life.

It took me years to find my voice, develop my sound, and establish a team.

These experiences have shaped my commitment to supporting emerging artists. Over the past two years, I have taught more than 100 vocal students and worked closely with emerging artists, helping them grow from beginners into confident artists. Through mentorship, coaching, and connection-building, I help artists with the tools and confidence they need, so they don’t have to go through the same struggles that I did.

I work with artists at all stages of development, from those writing their first songs to more experienced performers preparing for live shows. My approach combines artistic development with industry guidance, making sure that each artist not only grows creatively but also gains an understanding of how to navigate the music industry.

My goal as an artist coach is to help you define your artistic identity and become a confident musician, performer, and artist.
